1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Stride mobile application ("the App," "Stride," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Stride. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Medical Disclaimer

⚠️ Important: Stride is a personal tracking and logging tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.

Nothing in Stride — including dose logs, weight charts, injection site displays, or any other feature — constitutes medical advice. Always consult your physician, pharmacist, or licensed healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing your medication, dosage, or injection schedule.

Stride displays information you enter and does not make clinical recommendations. Any decisions about your GLP-1 medication are solely between you and your healthcare provider.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stride. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

You own all health data, notes, photos, and other content you enter into Stride ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Stride service to you.

We do not claim ownership of Your Content. We will not use your health data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it for any purpose other than operating Stride. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you log. Stride displays what you enter and cannot verify the correctness of your health data.

7. Apple Health Integration

If you choose to connect Apple Health, you authorize Stride to read certain health data from Apple HealthKit. This data is used only to populate your Stride dashboard and is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not write data to Apple Health. You can disconnect Apple Health access at any time in the iOS Health app.

8. Intellectual Property

The Stride app, including its design, code, graphics, text, and features (excluding Your Content), is owned by Stride and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our express written permission.

9. Subscription and Payments

Stride offers both a free tier and optional premium subscriptions. Subscription pricing, features, and billing terms are disclosed within the App and at the point of purchase. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Sale. We do not process payment information directly.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law or as provided by Apple's refund policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses. We do not warrant the accuracy of any information displayed in the App.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STRIDE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stride, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using Stride and delete your account at any time through the Account tab in the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. Sections 6 (Your Content ownership), 8 (IP), 10 (Disclaimers), 11 (Limitation of Liability), and 12 (Indemnification) survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Michigan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
